These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kepler Insights platform, website, and services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Kepler Insights LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Kepler Insights is a business intelligence platform that aggregates publicly available data signals to generate company scoring and ratings ("KI Ratings"). All scores are algorithmic outputs derived from third-party data and are provided for informational purposes only. KI Ratings do not constitute financial, investment, legal, or professional advice.
FCRA Disclaimer: Kepler Insights is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act ("FCRA"), 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. KI Ratings are not "consumer reports" under FCRA. You may not use KI Ratings, scores, or any data from the Service as a factor in determining any individual's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing, or any other purpose regulated by FCRA or similar state or federal laws. By using the Service, you agree that you will not use KI Ratings for any FCRA-regulated purpose.
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at noah@keplerinsights.us if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
We offer a free tier and paid subscription plans (currently Pro Insight). Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Your plan and its features are described on our Pricing page.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on file for each renewal period.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods except as required by applicable law.
We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' advance notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
Free accounts are limited to one scored company per account (lifetime). Free users may view their current scorecard and KI Rating but do not have access to paid features including score history, alerts, Intelligence Panel Checklist, competitor tracking, PDF export, or the embed snippet.

The Service, including its scoring methodology, algorithms, design, and content, is owned by Kepler Insights LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal business purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
KI Ratings are generated from third-party data sources that may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness for any particular purpose of any score, rating, or data provided through the Service. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
KI Ratings are not endorsements of any company and should not be used as the sole basis for any business, investment, lending, or hiring decision. KI Ratings reflect algorithmic analysis of publicly available data at a point in time and may not reflect the current state of any company. Scores may change without notice as underlying data is updated.
The Service may generate publicly accessible scorecard pages for companies that have been scored. These pages display KI Ratings derived from publicly available data. If you represent a company displayed on a public scorecard and believe the information to be materially inaccurate, you may request a review by contacting noah@keplerinsights.us. We will review the request and, at our discretion, update, correct, or remove the public scorecard.
Nothing in the Service constitutes investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or any other form of professional advice. You should consult your own financial, legal, and tax advisors before making any decisions based on information obtained through the Service. Kepler Insights and its officers, directors, and employees are not registered investment advisors and do not provide investment advisory services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kepler Insights LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kepler Insights LLC and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7–10) shall survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice in the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance.
Paid subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no prorated refunds are issued for the remaining days of a billing cycle. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us within 30 days of the charge at noah@keplerinsights.us and we will review and, if appropriate, issue a refund.
Kepler Insights may occasionally send unsolicited emails containing KI Ratings for your company derived from publicly available data. These communications are sent in compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act, 15 U.S.C. § 7701 et seq. Each such email includes a functioning unsubscribe mechanism and our physical mailing address. If you receive an unsolicited KI Rating email and do not wish to receive further communications, click the unsubscribe link or reply with "unsubscribe" in the subject line. We will honor all opt-out requests within 10 business days.
